Kinetiq Gym is open hardware in development. The design files are released after the physical prototype has been built and load-tested. When they are, they come under these licences:

What you may do

Build the machine, use it, study it, modify it and share your changes. If you distribute a modified design or software, publish your modified source under the same licence and keep the notices.

The name and logo are not licensed

KINETIQ, Kinetiq Gym and the Kinetiq logo are the maker's names and marks. None of the licences above grants any right to use them. Only the maker sells kits, parts or machines under the Kinetiq name or logo.

If you build, modify or sell hardware based on this design:

Supplier parts

Purchased parts (motor, motor controller, bearings, gears, hubs, couplings, connectors, boards, display, fan) belong to their suppliers. Their CAD is not redistributed here and is not covered by these licences.

No warranty

As the licences state, the design is provided as is, without any warranty. It is an untested prototype, not a finished exercise product. See SAFETY.md.

A draft reference: the prototype is being built and tested, and the CAD, build files and software are released after testing.
